As part of the Lukoil Cup 2016 the first in the russian history Child Match-day will be organized at "Otkritie Arena"
At the official presentation of Lukoil Cup 2016 - a joint project of "LUKOIL", FC "Spartak Moscow" and FARE Network - the first international Child Match-day in Russia was announced. It will be organized at the last day of the tournament.
As a part of Lukoil Cup matches on 28th August at "Otkritie Arena" stadium the Child Match-day will be organized: children from different countries will take part in the event as volunteers, stewards, commentator, fan-zones' organizers, etc. This event will be a symbolic repetition of FIFA World Cup, which will be held in 2018 in Russia, including "Otkritie Arena" - home stadium of "Spartak Moscow".
During the press-conference, new Lukoil Cup Ambassadors were asked questions about, for example, in which role they would prefer to take part at Child Match-day - if they were kids: Salvatore Bocchetti said, that he'd like to be a ticket manager - and Ivelin Popov agreed to take part in it as a ball-boy.
The fourth Lukoil Cup tournament will be held at the end of august in Moscow at "Spartak Moscow" Academy and "Otkritie Arena" with famous slogan - "Play against racism". Young teams of "Genoa" from Italy, "Twente" from Holland, "Levski" from Bulgaria and "Benfica" from Portugal will be participants of the tournament - and "Spartak Moscow" Academy will represent Russia.
